Maytex is looking for a highly-collaborative and ambitious Account Representative to join our expanding team in NYC. This person will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retailers in the Home Textiles Industry. He/she will be focused on ensuring customer success but also looking for opportunities to broaden each accounts business. The right candidate will be a proactive problem solver who can quickly and efficiently establish, strengthen and grow accounts. We are looking for an individual who will focus on client success, strong sales skills, and a track record to back it up.
- Build and manage a quality sales pipeline and sales opportunities for specific accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Design, and Sales Directors to optimize every aspect of the product offering and identify and implement best practices.
- Build and sustain great customer relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous success in account sales
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Tremendous follow up skills
- Minimum 3 years of wholesale experience
